Founded in 1969, the Griffin-Spalding Historical Society seeks to share stories of Griffin's past, present, and future through engaging programs, archival collections, preservation projects, and special events. The Historical Society owns and operates The Bailey-Tebault House located at 633 Meriwether Street in Griffin and continues our mission "to preserve and share the history of Griffin and Spalding County and to promote the preservation and use of their historic structures."
