The Griffin-Spalding Historical Society accepts donations of historical documents, furniture, and artifacts that contribute to the preservation and promotion of our region’s history.  Many of the rooms in the Bailey-Tebault house are furnished through the generosity of local citizens bequeathing family heirlooms to the organization.  Please contact the GSHS Executive Director at if you wish to make a donation.

In an effort to share and conserve history, many important documents and pictures that have been willed to the GSHS are on permanent loan to the Griffin Spalding Archives.  The archives are located  at 234 E. Taylor Street, and are open for research Monday through Friday, 10am- 4pm.
