Driving Directions:
From Interstate 75: Exit onto Hwy 16 West and head towards Griffin. One you come into town, (about 14 miles from the Interstate) Hwy 16 becomes Memorial Drive and Memorial Drive turns into Taylor Street. Follow into town on Taylor Street and come to 10th Street. Turn left onto 10th Street. You will come to a traffic light, go straight, you will see that it is a right turn only - this will be Meriwether. The Bailey-Tebault House is two blocks on your right.
From Barnesville/Milner: Travel North on Highway 41 towards Griffin. Take the 362/Williamson Road Exit. Make a right on to Williamson Road (The Griffin Elks Lodge will be on your right) Travel 1.5 miles and The Bailey-Tebault House will be on your left. Williamson Road turns into Meriwether Street.
From Clayton County: Travel South on 19/41 towards Griffin. Griffin is 12 miles south of the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia. Stay on 19/41 into Griffin (do not take the Business Exit) Take the Williamson Road/Hwy 362 Exit and make a left. Williamson Road turns into Meriwether and the Bailey-Tebault House is about 1.5 miles on the left.
From McDonough: Take Highway 155 into Griffin. When you get to a four way stop at Jackson Road make a right, this will take you into Griffin. You will make a left on Hill Street and traveling over the railroad tracks proceed south on Hill Street. Travel to East College Street (5th light) and make a right. Travel until the road runs out and the Bailey-Tebault house will be on your right. You will run into Meriwether Street.
From North Atlanta: Take I -75 South, Exit 325 (19/41 Griffin Exit) Stay on 19/41. You will go past the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia. Once you come into Griffin - do not take the Business Exit. Stay on 19/41 Bypass. Exit at Hwy 362/Williamson Road. Take a left. Go about 1.5 miles and the Bailey-Tebault House is on your left. Williamson Road will turn into Meriwether Street.
From Newnan/Senoia Area: Take 16 East to Griffin. As you enter Griffin - there will be a Home Depot on your right and a Lowe's on your left. Continue on 16 - it turns into Taylor Street. Stay on Taylor Street until you come to 10th Street. Take a right at 10th. Go thru the light at Poplar Street and take an immediate right. The Bailey-Tebault House is about a mile down on your right.
Griffin: Go South at 10th and Taylor (main street 16 thru town) Go to the first light at Poplar and 10th. Straight thru and bear right and we are about ½ mile down on right. Large White House. 633 Meriwether Street.
